can you smell CRAZY in this list? because if you don't, you should. pre-mom panic hit me hard this week so i finally sat down to watch what i had to watch before the movie after procrastinating for months. i'm gonna be honest, i thought i would enjoy the x-men movies way more than i did... the characters i was actually interested in did get much time to shine (cough storm cough) and it felt like all the movies were THE SAME THING ALL OVER AGAIN. but i have to be fair, i enjoyed the "first class era" way more than the first one, maybe because magneto wasn't as annoying as he was in the first mov- [gets dragged out of the stage] and because jean wasn't as blan- [gets dragged out of the stage again]. all in all i don't hate it but i'm not obsessed with it either, my relationship with these movies right now is just "things that make you go mmmmm" you know. still have to watch the most recent movie, so let's hope i like that one!

now moving on to loki. i started watching loki last year but i stopped after episode three (i don't remember why lol) so i just continued from there, and let me tell you... I'M SO IN LOVE WITH SYLVIE RN. people can say what they want about her i don't care, she's so hot and badass and charming and skdfhkfjg attractive. yes i always fall in love with insane women, leave me alone. i do not vibe with sylki tho because what the hell... sylvie be with me instead, i'll follow you into as many apocalypses as you want <3

moon knight officially ended today which means i'm cheating adding it here but i can do whatever i want. i had zero expectations for this show because as i mentioned multiple times before, i'm rarely ever interested in male characters or any sort of media that revolves around men, but let me tell you, i was pleasantly surprised. i absolutely ADORE steven grant and i grew to like marc too, not to mention: LAYLA EL-FAOULY. she's so pretty and interesting and i really hope we get more of her in the future, which i think we will considering the last episode. moon knight season 2 maybe? fingers crossed

while we're on the topic of male characters, let me share a few thoughts on daredevil. i was once again proven wrong because why am i so emotionally attached to this white man!!!! marvel stop this madness right now it's embarrassing. the last three episodes of season one are a rollercoaster, it literally had me hiding under the covers at some point because there were jumpscares all the time. i'd say more but i'll wait until i finish the whole show so i can make a whole post about it. for now i'll just say FUCK WILSON FISK'S GREASY BALD ASS.

i was planning on making a whole post on eternals because it made me feel so insane when i watched it, but now it's been months and i no longer have the energy- however, that doesn't mean i stopped loving this movie. actually, i think i love eternals more now than when i first watched it. where did people get the idea that this movie is bad. WHERE. eternals had me shaking crying throwing up kicking the wall etc etc it blew my mind. i love their dynamics, i love their story and i love how the movie goes back and forth between the time where they were together and the present. the only thing about this movie i don't like is ikaris. fuck that guy.

encanto and turning red were both very cute, but i have to admit i liked encanto way more. i'm a sucker for musicals and the songs are so good? i couldn't stop listening to we don't talk about bruno and the family madrigal after watching the movie. also, isabela madrigal <3 that's my girl right there!

my pitch perfect rewatch was such a good and fun moment. i suddenly missed the barden bellas and decided it was time for me to finally watch pp3 so i just went for it, resulting into bechloe madness and listening to the soundtrack non-stop ever since. after going through all the movies i watched the whole thing AGAIN a few days later after with my best friend aka amy aka the biggest hailee steinfeld in the universe. it was sooooooo funny to see her reactions to emily junk and to see her decend into bechloe madness with me. we need to do something like this again asap lmao

euphoria, am i right? the euphoria binge watching week was another crazy time i had this year... some distant family members came to my house to spend carnaval and i was so annoyed because i just wanted to watch euphoria in PEACE but yeah. i watched the first few episodes of euphoria back in 2019 and since everyone was talking about it when s2 dropped i decided to continue watching it and i loved it. when i first watched it i was really drawn to jules but miss lexi howard stole my heart as i kept watching it, why is she the cutest smartest prettiest girl in the world? i want to give her everything. her play was my favorite moment of the entire show and i was so happy that she got her own little moment ah... T_T that's my girl. i also really like maddy, don't you just love when the popular girl who's supposed to be the mean one is actually just the sweetest person in the whole galaxy and actually a great friend and good with kids? one thing that made me see red though was jules and rue's storyline in season two... WHAT REASON DID THEY HAVE TO FUCK UP THEIR RELATIONSHIP SO BAD? sam levinson i am under your bed. this is a threat. last but not least, fuck nate jacobs.

look i am deeply aware that i should've read a bunch of other comics before the 2013 young avengers but can you blame me. i wanted to see my best friend america chavez and i also wanted to experience AMERIKATE. guys i literally love the young avengers so much it's insane, they're just a extremely powerful and also gay group of friends who go through some #heavy_messy_shit, what more could you want?

now miss kamala khan... that's my best friend slash little sister slash favorite fic writer right there. she's sooooo fun and it's so funny how obsessed she is with the avengers (especially carol, miss danvers what are you waiting to adopt this girl? she's your #1 fan). the moments where she's lost in her intense avengers daydreaming are god-tier. i recommend it 100% and i can't wait to read more about her ^^

when will i be free of malvadão 3... i am NOT going to let that song be one of my top songs of the year. this is all wandanat's fault. "why is it wandanat's fault?" well, you see, in the beginning of the year this song went viral on tiktok and a specific wandanat edit someone made with this song kicked me in the ribs, spit on my face and called me a whore. so i listened to this song like an insane person for a week and now i kind of regret it because, second place?!??!? too high.

looking on the bright side, i discovered a lot of great music this year and i've been listening to kali uchis a lot recently! her songs are incredibly good and i find her voice so so so unique, it pulls me in every time. also, anyone else a DOJA CAT stan here? i love her so much and hopefully i'll never get tired of her songs.
